Corporate Social Responsibility

At Rutherfords LLP we aim to fulfill our Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) by creating an attractive working environment for the development and wellbeing of our staff, ensuring that our business has minimal impact on the environment and supporting fundraising and sponsorship initiatives in Tamworth and the surrounding area.

St Giles Hospice

We have worked with and supported St Giles Hospice since 2012 raising funds for this local hospice including participation in the annual `Make a Will Fortnight` in October.

We have raised over £18,000 for this local charity over the years and continue to support its excellent work.

Supporting Birmingham Children's Hospital Logo

Staff and partners at Rutherfords LLP support fundraising for this important charity providing leading specialist paediatric care.
We have donated to the Eye Believe Appeal and help to raise funds annually for the Christmas card appeal.

We support fundraising initiatives for Macmillan including taking part in the annual `World`s Biggest Coffee Morning` and will continue to support its excellent work.

Environmental impact

We try to consider the environmental impact of our business.

This includes recycling paper and cardboard, toner and printer cartridges.

We use a private company to confidentially shred waste paper and recycle the paper collected from our office.

We have a policy to turn off lights and electrical equipment when not in use and avoid computers being left on stand-by.

The firm uses energy efficient thin client terminals (no hard drive or fan) and daylight LED ceiling panels which are motion activated.
