Meeting director of fundraising and marketing Jason Levy who is responsible for funding initiatives necessary to generate £6.5 million each year to keep the three helicopters operational to cover Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. This is the largest air ambulance operating region in the UK.

The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity receives no Government, NHS or lottery funding. Over 40% of annual funding is received from will legacies.  

Tony Illsley has been appointed by the MAAC to take part in the free will campaign. This is aimed at supporters of the Air Ambulance who would like to leave a legacy donation in their will, or even a share of residue of their estate. In return, Rutherfords LLP will prepare a will to appoint your executors and leave your assets to your chosen beneficiaries at no cost to the client. The Air Ambulance will pay the legal fees of preparing a standard will. The only condition is that you must be 55 years or older to apply under the scheme.
